Where Can I Watch Live Horse Racing For Free?

Technically no bookies allow you to watch live horse racing streams for free. However it is pretty much free to watch live horse racing streams through bookmaker websites.

With most bookmakers that offer live horse racing streaming you need to place a small bet on the race in question in order to watch it. The amount you need to bet is usually somewhere between 50p and £1.

In most cases you will only want to watch the races you have bet on and most punters bet £1 or more on each race they bet on which is why it is effectively free to watch live horse racing streaming with many bookmakers.

The bookmakers that currently offer live UK horse racing streaming are:

Bet365 – Bet 50p on the race to stream horse racing for free
Coral – Bet £1 on the race to stream horse racing for free
Paddy Power – Bet £1 on the race to stream horse racing for free
BetVictor – Bet £1 on the race to stream horse racing for free
William Hill – Bet£1 on the race to stream horse racing for free
Ladbrokes – Bet £1 on the race to stream horse racing for free
Betfair – Bet 50p on the race to stream horse racing for free
Unibet – Bet £1 on the race to stream horse racing for free

Which Is The Best Bookie To Watch Live Racing Racing Free?

If you are betting at least £1 on a horse race then the chances are you are going to be able to watch it for free through the same bookie that you placed the bet with.

The viewing experiences are generally pretty similar between bookies so preference would always be getting the best odds on your horse racing bet first and then just watch the live horse racing stream for free with that bookie. Even if bet365 had a slightly clearer picture quality than Coral for example, would it really be worth taking 7/1 on your bet with bet365 rather than 9/1 with Coral? We don’t think so and we highly recommend placing your bet with whichever bookie from our list above that offers live horse racing streaming and has the best odds on the horses you want to back.

Where Can I Get Live Horse Racing Commentary?

You can listen to horse racing commentary for free on UK racing in numerous places. Probably the most well known live horse racing commentary service is William Hill Radio which is available through the William Hill website.

There is a quick link for William Hill Radio horse racing commentary at the top of their site. If you are on a mobile device download the William Hill app in order to gain access to William Hill Radio.

William Hill Radio is live every day and covers all of the racing from UK and Ireland as well as other racing from around the globe and they also have some excellent pundits on their channel making it a great choice if you want to listen to horse racing commentary.

Timeform also have a horse racing commentary service that covers UK greyhounds as well. This is a commentary only service.

Who Has The Best Live Horse Racing Radio?

The live horse racing radio service from William Hill is our personal favourite. It offers the most in depth coverage of racing outside of television and allows you to listen to all UK horse racing. On top of that you’ll get opinions on all the races (where there is time) and build up to the day’s racing as well.

William Hill Radio was established over a decade ago and is still going strong, despite people now being able to watch horse racing for free whilst they are out and about on their phones. Technology moves on but William Hill remains a great provider of UK horse racing coverage.

Is It Possible To Get Live Racing UK Freeview?

If you are looking for Racing UK for free you might well be disappointed. Racing UK, or Racing TV as it is now known, offers plenty to its members. Not only will you get coverage of 61 racecourses in the UK and Ireland but they also offer club days which allow members to go racing to 40 meetings a year absolutely free.

Racing TV members also get unlimited access to replays from those 61 racecourses with each race uploaded to the Racing TV website around 30 minutes after it is run.

Potentially one of the biggest perks of subscribing to Racing TV is the ability to get live racing UK freeview (there is no extra cost for subscribers) through the Racing TV website. Live horse racing can be streamed through a desktop or laptop device as well as on mobile devices in good quality resolutions. The quality of these streams are generally far superior to what you will get with bookmaker live horse racing streaming.

Racing TV does not come cheap but if you are serious about your horse racing betting it is a sound investment. Regularly watching as much racing as possible should help give you the edge to make extra profit which can cover the Racing TV subscription.

Is Racing UK The Same As Racing TV?

Yes. What is now known as Racing TV was known as Racing UK until January 1st 2019. The rebranding came as a result of Racing UK acquiring rights to show 26 Irish racecourses meaning the name ‘UK’ was no longer appropriate.

Racing TV now shows around twice the number of races that Racing UK did. If you are looking for coverage from one particular meeting you can watch designated channels for each meeting online on ‘Racing TV Extra’.
